One in a Million

ACC Fundraiser
ACC is an orphan disease, which means that there are very few cases diagnosed per year. This makes it difficult to obtain an early diagnosis, there are limited treatment options, little research being done on ACC, the treatment for ACC has not changed in decades, and there are very few experts available for consultation. Due to these facts, ACC has a very poor prognosis.
There is a desperate need to raise funds (click here to donate) for ACC awareness, early diagnosis, and research into ACC treatment. One in a Million Foundation was set up to meet this need. It has been established as a legacy of the life of Mike Wilson who was diagnosed with ACC on the 4th September 2022 and who died on the 20th October 2022. This is a short seven weeks after diagnosis!
The money raised through One in a Million Foundation will go towards the very few ACC research foundations that that have been set up. The funds will also be available to help families in need to access clinical trials. The Foundation will also provide information to people that have been diagnosed with ACC and their families.
