One in a Million
Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC) Fundraiser
ACC Fundraiser
ACC is an orphan disease, which means that there are very few cases diagnosed per year. This makes it difficult to obtain an early diagnosis, there are limited treatment options, little research being done on ACC, the treatment for ACC has not changed in decades, and there are very few experts available for consultation. Due to these facts, ACC has a very poor prognosis.

Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC)
Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC) is a rare aggressive cancer that affects about 1 in a million people in the US per year (i.e., 330 people / year). Thus, for Australia the incidence of ACC is much lower, less than 30 people per year.

Trinni also loves her pets, arts, gymnastics, Cubs, dance, her long hair, painting nails and making a difference! Now she wants to help raise awareness of ACC, or as she calls it “Mike’s cancer”. She's shaving her head to do her bit to help find a cure.
